I loved you and you left, betraying my heart, this time I will love myself, at least self-betrayal will not be an option. I loved you with all my heart, sacrificing self-love, giving all of me to you. I denied the fact that you would ever leave. But I was wrong, I guess my own self wanted you to leave yet my heart for the emptiness you left behind, and I am alone. This loneliness taught me to love myself. I have made a conscious choice. To honor myself to fall for love self-love. Before complementing another I chose myself. The history of our connection is hidden in the truth of your heart. And regardless of your outcome, I feel I have made the right choice for me. You never deserved so much love from me, you betrayed and I am still standing, waiting for you.
But this time to show you, the 'me' I lost for you; is back.
